AN ALL NEW WEB PRESENCE FOR THE ORION MICHIGAN COMPANY

(Orion, MI - January 5, 2006) SCATE® Technologies, Inc. released a completely new website today with all new graphics and content. SCATE® released its revolutionary knowledge capture and process documentation software “SCATE® Ignite™” on November 2, 2005 and has since received an astounding response from the business community. To manage the influx of inquiries, SCATE® needed to update its site in order to better assist those that require more information about SCATE® Technologies, its products, and its services.

Many feel that Ignite™ will be one of the most interesting software product success stories in the industry this year. SCATE®’s prior web page was designed primarily as a portal for engineers interested in its suite of CAD-focused eLearning courses. While SCATE® will continue to aggressively pursue that market, as well as custom opportunities, it will also dramatically grow its commercial product offerings, and the new content was needed to support these efforts in particular.

According to Steve Sadler, SCATE® President and CEO, “Our company is capable of producing best-in-class applications, and the new SCATE.com is just our latest example. We knew for some time that we needed to retool our website, and we had planned it as a January 2006 project, but we began to receive some inquiries from customers who wanted more information than was currently available, so we moved up the changeover by over 30 days” said Sadler. Sadler went on to say that “We are very proud of our developers in that they were not only able to complete the redesign ahead of the original site deployment date, they also managed to keep our other projects on schedule at the same time. We are blessed to have these people on our team.”

SCATE’s® new website is significant in that it is far less dependent on “flash” as a required plug-in for the visitor than its previous site. It also incorporates a sleek new look, color scheme, and overall flow. Most importantly however, the information that customers need to know about SCATE® Technologies, its products and its services, has been completely brought up to date. Additionally, an all new downloadable Ignite™ demonstration has been created and added to the site.

“While our previous page was very effective for its intended purpose, we needed to be able to highlight other products and services we offer such as SCATE® Ignite™, Exceed™, Multi-Vector Vision™, and other custom projects. SCATE.com now communicates our entire portfolio, and serves as a portal to our server-based software applications” said Jeff Holth, SCATE® Director of Business Development.
